The brief
Six cantilevered plates hung off a limestone face, drawn as if already weathered.
The brief arrived as a section and a warning: the client had been told the house was unbuildable. Our job was not to prove them wrong but to make the argument visible — to show what it would feel like to stand on the fourth plate at six in the evening with the valley going blue below you.
We modelled the cliff from drone photogrammetry, then rebuilt the concrete in three ages: freshly struck, two winters in, and a decade of rain. The final frames use the middle one. Buildings photograph best slightly used.
Eleven stills and a ninety-second film went to the planning committee. Consent was granted on the first pass.
